Accordion Shutters

Folding shutters for windows and doors

Accordion hurricane shutters slide along permanent top and bottom tracks. The blades fold into a stack beside the opening when open, so you do not need to store separate panels. Before ordering, check side clearance, nearby corners, handles and the path across a doorway.

Measure the opening and check the stacking space

Enter the opening measurements requested by the quote tool. Do not add an estimated track or blade-stack allowance yourself. Send the office photos of the wall, trim and any obstruction so the finished shutter size and mounting layout can be reviewed together.

For sliding glass doors or French doors, discuss how the door opens, where the shutter will stack and how you will reach the lock. Your installer must review required exit access and attachment to the mounting surface.

Locks, storm approvals and pricing

Compare the locking arrangement and hardware for the exact system. A closed shutter adds a physical barrier, but a hurricane approval does not establish a burglary-resistance rating. Ask for the approval and installation documents that apply to the product, size and mounting you plan to use.

Build the quote for your actual openings, color and quantity. The office confirms final dimensions, components and freight before you approve the total. We build and ship the shutters; you arrange installation.
