Planning hurricane fabric panels
Purpose-built fabric, not an ordinary screen
Hurricane fabric uses a specific material and attachment system for storm protection. Ordinary insect screens, shade cloth and tarps are not interchangeable with it. Request the approval and installation documents for the exact system.
Mounting, deployment and storage
Record your opening dimensions and photograph the mounting surface. Confirm the required clearance and attachment layout with the office and your installer. Decide who will deploy the fabric before a storm and where labeled components will be stored.
