Rolling Shutters

Rolling, roll-down and retractable storm shutters

Rolling shutters, also called roll-down or rolldown shutters, travel in side rails and retract into a housing above the opening. The layout keeps the curtain overhead when open. Check the available space above the opening and on both sides before choosing a system.

Manual or motorized operation

Compare manual and motorized options for the configuration you are ordering. Tell the office where you want to operate the shutter and whether the opening is difficult to reach. Ask what controls are included and whether the selected motor supports a manual override during a power outage; do not assume every motor does.

For everyday use on exterior windows, doors or a suitable storefront, discuss locks, operating frequency and emergency access with the office and your installer. A motor improves convenience, but does not establish a security rating.

Choose the exact system before comparing prices

The name rolling shutter does not establish an impact rating. Compare the exact slat system, rails, housing, controls, approved dimensions and mounting documents. If hurricane protection is required, confirm the approval for the complete configuration.

Use your opening measurements in the quote tool rather than a general square-foot estimate. The office reviews options and shipping before you approve the final total. We ship throughout the USA and internationally; installation is arranged by you.
