Planning shutters for Kauai
On Kauai, decide whether someone can safely reach every opening and deploy removable panels before severe weather. Compare that effort and storage space with a mounted accordion or rolling system. Send photos of the mounting area, ask your installer to review the exact configuration, and confirm freight receiving arrangements before finalizing the order.
Compare storm shutter options
Accordion shutters
A mounted manual option if repeated closure matters and there is room for the stack at each side. Check access at elevated windows and large doors.
Rolling shutters
Can simplify frequent use, but need housing space and a clear operating plan. Review motor controls and manual operation during an outage for the chosen model.
Storm panels
A removable option when storage and safe deployment are realistic. Ask who will install them, how each panel is labeled and whether the tracks suit the mounting surface.
Shipping and installation
The office reviews freight to Kauai after confirming your selections and delivery details. Ask about the transport arrangement, receiving location and any final-delivery responsibilities. Current production and delivery estimates are confirmed by the office; shipping is not included in the online product estimate.
We do not provide installation in Kauai. Arrange suitable DIY installation or your own contractor or handyman. Have the installer review the mounting surface and product instructions before finalizing the order. Ask which hardware and operating components are included in your specific configuration.
